birthday letter.

[ On his birthday, a letter makes its way to the lakehouse via Reyson (Rose's DTF). The winged canine trots up and wags his tail as he offers the gilded stationery and small, wrapped package. When he opens it, he'll be greeted by the scent of flowers pressed into the envelope. The letter reads: ]



[ Included with the letter is a photo of Rose, winking into the camera and holding up a silver key.

It will make more sense with his gift. Once he opens the package, Byleth will find a small padlock on a chain engraved with roses and sea glass, like the heart she'd made him back on the island, as a callback to how far they've come. ]

[ Byleth, brief as ever, replies in kind with a text. A picture of the padlock on a chain, strung around his neck. ]

You don't need a key to unlock my love, you already have it.

Thank you. Its beautiful. A good reminder of someone I love.
